Great place to go for good food and a show. Hopefully u will get a lively cook. The food has always been superb. Went last night. Unfortunately the service was bad. No one at my table got drink refills. We never saw our waiter again after the first encounter. Cook was excellent. He was very entertaining.

We were seated right away. Food service was great and fast and cooked perfectly. They were very hospitable to our wants and needs, even offering a cushion for the high chair for our 7 month old. We all enjoyed the meals and atmosphere and the place is decorated very nice. Even our picky eaters were satisfied. We will be back again.

Our server and chef were both excellent! I really enjoyed the fact that the chef made sure my daughter was happy, and his presentation and delivery were both awesome! Thanks. I definitely will be back, and I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the south who wants to eat at a Japanese Steak House!

I went to celebrate my 50th birthday with my girls and when I say the owner, chef and waitress and waiter made me feel special. The food was AMAZING as always!!

We sat at sushi bar, sushi was some of the best ive ever had. The dining area seemed busy based on the initial host taking so long to come to the front. The peach sake is also good. My insta @doodlenikiproctor

Took my daughter here to celebrate her graduating. They had hibachi and I had sushi! Food was really good! I also tried their pinacolada and it was pretty decent as well!

SATO is the best hibachi restaurant in Columbia, SC. The food and showmanship are great! I personally prefer the Shrimp Sauce over the yum yum sauce!
